Manchester Airport’s new concept 1903 Lounge offers a luxurious and relaxing escape away from the bustling terminal. Gariff operated as main contractor for the Manchester Airport Group, providing a full fit out and joinery package reconfiguring an empty shell into a high-end passenger lounge. Work included all luxury finishes throughout including bespoke timber & metal joinery, polished plaster feature walls, bespoke slatted timber wall panelling and suspended ceiling rafts which mirror the runway layout. In addition, Gariff manufactured in-house all display cabinets, servery counters, reception desks, newspaper stands and fixed seating. Also included was the upgrade of the entrance corridor from its previous use as a service passage with the installation of new sliding doors and signage.
