Q-Mark Fire Doorsets

Doors manufactured under the Q-Mark scheme offer our clients the peace of mind that they are purchasing fully fire tested door sets. In addition, we are also registered Q-Mark doorset installers, so can offer full manufacture and installation certification on doors tested to up 1 hour.

Our doorsets (30 and 60 minutes) have been tested by Chiltern International Fire (The pictures below show both a 30 and 60 minute door at various stages of the test). Test Certificates are available by request or in the client login area of this website.

Our doorsets are available in a wide range of finishes, door-leaf and vision panel combinations. We will provide you with guidance and practical advice on the correct choice of glazing, beading arrangements and maximum vision panel sizes.

As we are not tied to any one ironmongery manufacturer, we can offer an extensive range of options, or you are free to specify your own, provided it has been tested and certified to the necessary requirements for fire resistance.

Our doors are certified using a range of door blanks that allows us to offer medium duty solid chipboard cores, through to solid laminated timber severe duty doorsets, depending upon the anticipated usage of the building.

Door and ironmongery scheduling services are also available should you require our assistance.

What is Q-Mark Certification?
What is Q-Mark Certification?

BM TRADA Q-Mark product certification is the ultimate endorsement for any product manufacturer.

Q-Mark is the ideal tool for independently proving that products are:

Properly tested and appraised in the first instance.

Manufactured under an appropriate quality management system (ISO9001)

Consistently manufactured to the same high standard, day after day.
The scheme therefore enables manufacturers to prove the worth of their products and specifiers / end-users to buy with confidence.

The Q-Mark is readily identifiable as a market leader in the certification of timber related products and a growing range of other construction materials. Once a company has had its products approved under the scope of Q-Mark, it is permitted to use the logo on both literature and products.
