MANAGING DIRECTOR FOUNDED GARIFF: 1986
Gary is the founder of Gariff, but still loves nothing more than helping the lads on site (particularly when timescales are tight!). He is a Master Yachtsman and crazy jet skier who loves to party in Ibiza!
DAVID LANGSHAW
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR JOINED GARIFF: 1994
Dave is an avid Liverpool FC Supporter, even though he gets “forced” to go to Manchester United games with Gariff. He likes to cycle in his spare time and enjoys a few pints (not at the same time!).

CONTRACTS DIRECTOR JOINED GARIFF: 1989
Dave began his Gariff career on Salford Quays as a Roofing Joiner, earning lots of money (as he puts it). His favourite football team is Preston North End and he would love to be able to drink more gin!
NEIL HAMPSON
SURVEYING AND H&S DIRECTOR JOINED GARIFF: 2004
Neil’s favourite Gariff projects include the many Manchester Airport Lounges he has worked on. He enjoys a pint of bitter whilst watching Manchester City play.
STEVE DORAN
CONTRACTS DIRECTORJOINED GARIFF: 2004
Steve came to Gariff over 13 years ago as a Joiner for only 2 weeks and has never left. Known as “Chunky”, he enjoys socialising and walking his beloved dog.

WORKSHOP MANAGER JOINED GARIFF: 1989
John “Knightclub” came to Gariff as an apprentice in the late 80s and worked his way up through the ranks. He loves riding his motorbike and watching Moto GP with a nice glass of Bordeaux.
SHANI-MARIE CHEW
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER JOINED GARIFF: 2016
Shani has a super-human thirst for knowledge and is currently training to be a counsellor (greatly needed at Gariff!). With a ridiculous 5:30 am start she can often be seen in the gym in preparation for the Gin & Slim weekends.
COLIN STOTT
AIRPORT CONTRACTS MANAGER JOINED GARIFF: 1995
Colin started out as a Gariff apprentice and climbed the ladder to run our airport operations. He loves to travel, mostly to countries that make good Rum! and would like to be telepathic.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER JOINED GARIFF: 2002
Being of Irish descent, Martin has a thirst for Guinness (also his favourite past-time). If he could have a superpower it would be the ability to keep the Directors awake at accounts meetings.
DIANE WALKER
PAYROLL MANAGER JOINED GARIFF: 1995
“Delectable Di” was once our receptionist but now makes sure we all get paid! She is a keen fell walker and is interestingly related to “Sporty” from the girl band Spice Girls.
RACHAEL LANGSHAW
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT JOINED GARIFF: 2014
Rachael is our resident make-up artist who is also good with numbers. If not horse riding at the weekend, you may find her out on the town with friends.

Phil is a big Manchester City supporter, hence thoroughly enjoyed working on their new Colin Bell Stand. He is also a Qualified Joiner and would enjoy the super power of invisibility?!

CAD DESIGN TECHNICIAN JOINED GARIFF: 2011
Steve qualified with a City & Guilds in Shopfitting & Advanced Craft. He likes to undertake DIY projects in his spare time and would relish the opportunity of time travel.
BEN FINE

Ben used to be our Sanitation Consultant – but eventually picked up some CAD Skills. His favourite past-times include fishing and going to the gym with his mates in the hope of becoming a “Tank”.
